Broncos Dominate the Course: Fast Times and Strong Finish

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - The nationally ranked Cal Poly Pomona Broncos put on an impressive display at Dallas Baptist University's Old Glory Gallop, competing against 41 schools and finishing second overall. The team's performance was particularly noteworthy as they claimed the top spot among Division II programs.

Leading the charge was Tom McDonnell, who finished sixth overall with a personal best of 24:15. McDonnell's performance not only highlighted his individual talent but also set the tone for the team's success.

Just behind him was Juan Ramos, crossing the finish line in seventh place with a time of 24:17, also marking a personal best. The two runners' stellar finishes were pivotal in securing the team's impressive standing amidst fierce competition.

Three Broncos entered the CPP Record Book, running the 14th (Tom McDonnell), 18th (Juan Ramos), and 23rd (Evan Franco) fastest 8K times in program history. As a team, the Broncos ran the 21st fastest time in program history of 24:27.

The Broncos will compete in the Pomona-Pitzer Invite on October 19th at 7:45 AM to finish off the regular season.
