Caitie Mueller Named CCAA Setter of the Week

For the second consecutive week, Caitie Mueller of Cal Poly Pomona has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Setter of the Week.
The senior from San Clemente helped lead the No. 5 Broncos (16-1, 10-0 CCAA) to a pair of sweeps over Cal State San Marcos. Mueller averaged 14.3 assists per set and helped CPP post over a .420 hitting percentage in each match to extend Cal Poly Pomona's winning streak to 12 consecutive matches.
Mueller had 41 assists in the opener and added 45 on Saturday. She also totaled 14 digs, six kills, and four aces.
Mueller is now second in the CCAA and 17th in the NCAA Div. II with 10.86 assists per set. Click here to see the complete CCAA leaderboard.

The team is also an incredible 6-0 against nationally ranked opponents this season.
- Samantha Campion Named CCAA Defensive Player of the WeekCal Poly Pomona's Samantha Campion has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 3.
- Best Start in Program History, Broncos Set Record With Eighth Straight SweepThe Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team won their 16th consecutive match on Saturday afternoon, improving to 20-1 on the season to mark the best start in program history through 21 games. The previous best start through the same amount of games had been 19-2, set by the 2005 squad that had a historic 19-0 start.
- No. 4 Volleyball Ties Best Start in Program HistoryThe No. 4 ranked Broncos picked up their 15th consecutive win on Friday afternoon, improving their overall record to 19-1 on the season. This ties the best start to a season through their first 20 matches in program history, having also gone 19-1 to open the 2005 campaign.
