The BroncCast S1E8 - Sports Performance (Oct 19, 2020)
Episode #8 of The BroncCast is another special episode as we feature the true celebrities and unsung heroes of our athletics department, the Cal Poly Pomona Sports Performance staff. Assistant Athletics Director of Communications Tyler Lobe sits down with Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Performance Ruem Malasarn, Assistant Athletic Trainers Lauren Salas and Albert Torres and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Chase Sanders to discuss the transformation of the CPP sports performance office during Ruem's 20-year tenure on campus, how they work closely with the student-athletes to make sure they are taken care of, both physically and mentally, what measures are being taken to keep everyone safe if and when we return-to-play, and we play a little trivia to wrap it up at the end, only to find out that someone watches a little too much television and wins a prize for it.
