Laguna and Jackson Shine as Broncos Extend All-America Streak to 10th Year

POMONA, Calif. - For the tenth consecutive season, Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer continues to showcase its elite talent on the national stage with two Broncos named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Teams. Senior midfielder Max Laguna and senior defender Fin Jackson were both honored for their outstanding performances this season, bringing the total number of All-America selections in program history to 51.
Max Laguna, a senior from Anaheim, was named to the All-America Second Team after an exceptional season that saw him contribute both offensively and defensively. Laguna also earned All-CCAA First Team honors for his role in the Broncos' midfield. This year, he tallied 8 goals and 6 assists, including 3 game-winning goals. A model of consistency, Laguna appeared in 84 matches over his career and accumulated a total of 3,940 minutes for Cal Poly Pomona. His leadership and technical skills were pivotal in guiding the Broncos throughout the season, securing his spot among the nation's top players.
Fin Jackson, a senior defender from Scholar Green, England, was named to the All-America Third Team. Jackson, who was also selected to the All-CCAA First Team and CSC Academic All-District, played a crucial role in the Broncos' defensive line. He started in 20 matches this season and scored 2 goals. Over the course of his career, Jackson has appeared in 73 matches and logged 5,231 minutes on the field. His defensive prowess, leadership, and commitment to the program have been key components of the team's success.
