Martinez and Smith Lead Record-Breaking Day at Premier Meet #1

MANKATO, Mn. - The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos earned a strong third-place finish out of 10 teams at the Premier Meet #1, showcasing impressive individual performances.
Highlighting the day, Vivian Martinez set a new school record in the 3000-meter with a stellar time of 10:00.89, while Neshara Smith broke the school record in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing with a remarkable 8.45.
In addition to the record-breaking feats, 11 athletes made their mark by entering the top 10 in program history across various events. Moreover, four athletes set personal bests, further demonstrating the Broncos' depth and talent.
With one final meet left in the indoor regular season, the Broncos are primed for continued success as they build momentum toward the postseason.
