The Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team received an at-large bid into the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships on Monday afternoon, it was announced via press release on NCAA.com. It is the team's 24th appearance at the national championships in program history, and their ninth in the past 11 seasons.

The Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team placed fourth in the NCAA West Regional 10K on Saturday morning in Billings, Montana. The team averaged 31:28 in the race, just three seconds behind the third-place time that would've earned the team an automatic qualification in nationals.

POMONA, Calif. - For the first time in department history, all five Cal Poly Pomona fall sports are nationally ranked in their respective Top 25 polls at the same time. Men's cross country is ranked 19th, women's cross country is 18th, men's soccer at 18th, volleyball at eighth, and women's soccer tied a program high with a ranking of No. 2 in the nation.
