10 Straight Wins for No. 8 Volleyball, Broncos Remain Perfect in Conference

POMONA, Calif. – Cal Poly Pomona volleyball's 10th straight victory came in a 3-0 sweep over Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday afternoon. The Broncos once again dominated the match for their ninth sweep of the season, improving to 14-1 overall and a perfect 8-0 in conference play. Outside of San Francisco State at 7-1, the Broncos have at least a three game lead over every other team in the CCAA. The Gators' one conference loss, of course, came in a 3-0 sweep by the Broncos back on September 21st.

For the fourth consecutive season, the Broncos have a 10-game winning streak. All four streaks since the start of the 2021 season have occurred early in the year, starting on or before conference play. Of the eight-longest winning streaks in program history, half of them have occurred under head coach Traci Dahl.

The No. 8 ranked Broncos opened the match with an easy 25-15 win in the first set, recording a match-best 16 kills and a .364 hitting percentage. The Otters struggled to land any of their attacks, swinging a season-worst .067 in the match and never once swinging over .100 in any of the three sets. The Green & Gold handled the second and third sets as well, winning 25-19 and 25-20, respectively.

Redshirt freshman Landen Allison-Bullock had a breakout game on Saturday afternoon, recording 10 kills and leading the team with two solo blocks. Samantha Campion logged yet another double-double, her seventh of the season, with a team-leading 12 kills and 16 digs. The All-American ranks second on the team in both categories this season.
