Caitie Mueller Named CCAA Setter of the Week

After leading No. 8 Cal Poly Pomona to a pair of wins, Caitie Mueller has been selected as the CCAA Volleyball Setter of the Week for the week of Oct. 7-13. 
 
Mueller claimed the honor for the third time during her senior season as she averaged 9.83 assists and helped the Broncos post a near .250 hitting percentage. 
 
She opened the two-match homestand with a 23-assist, 10-dig double-double in a sweep over Cal State East Bay. Mueller followed the next night with 36 kills and five digs in a win over Cal State Monterey Bay. Mueller also added four blocks and eight kills on a .421 hitting percentage. 
 
Mueller is second on the CCAA leaderboard and 31st in NCAA Division II with 10.46 assists per set. Click here to see the complete CCAA leaderboard.

CCAA volleyball teams reach the halfway point of the conference schedule this week (18-match CCAA schedule) and will play a home and away match against the same team. The Broncos will travel to San Marcos on Friday, Oct. 18, before returning home to host the Cougars on Saturday. Both games can be viewed at CCAA on FloSports.
