Ryan Fields Breaks Own School Record at Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. – Ryan Fields broke his own school record on Saturday afternoon, running 13.64 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles to beat his previous personal best of 13.75. His new mark now ranks fourth in the entire nation this season, while ranking first in the CCAA. Fields is still ranked second in the nation in the 400 meter hurdles behind teammate Alessio Sommacal.
The Broncos reached 10 NCAA provisional qualifying marks at the Mt. SAC Relays, while also setting seven personal records. Nicholas Albro won the 3000 meter steeplechase, finishing first out of 10 athletes.
The 4x100 relay team also climbed up to third in school history with a time of 40.38 seconds. The top SEVEN 4x100 relay teams in school history have all included Joshua Johnson over the past three seasons – four of those seven being set this year.
Thomas Tuff also entered the record book for the first time on Friday, reaching 15.95 meters in the shot put to rank 10th in school history.

UP NEXT
The Broncos will compete in the CCAA Championships May 2- 4th in Turlock, CA. Both the men's and women's teams will look for their third consecutive CCAA title, having taken home the trophy in both 2022 and 2023.
