Broncos Fall to Cal Poly Humboldt in CCAA Tournament Quarterfinals

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Broncos made their first appearance in the CCAA tournament since the 2021-2022 season, facing off against Cal Poly Humboldt in the quarterfinals. The game started with the Broncos trailing, but they managed to tie the game at 12-12 with 13 minutes remaining in the first half. They pushed ahead with 10 minutes left, thanks to a layup by Jordan Carpenter, but the Lumberjacks quickly regained their lead and took control of the game.

In the first half, Miles Lewis led the Broncos with 10 points, while Kevin Simeth made a strong impact with six of his eight rebounds coming in the opening period. Despite their efforts, the Broncos went into halftime trailing 38-26.
