Carreon Named CCAA Field Athlete of the Week

Cal Poly Pomona pole vaulter Isabelle Carreon soars to new heights to be selected as CCAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week, for the week of April 1-7.
Carreon set a new Cal Poly Pomona record with a clearance of 3.94 meters (12 feet, 11 inches) at the Triton Invitational at UC San Diego. She was the top collegiate athlete at the meet with a second place finish. The new career best height, a provisional qualifying mark, ranks 13th best in Division II this season.
The junior from Discovery Bay, Calif., is No. 1 in the CCAA. Carreon leads 2023 CCAA champion Amy Christiansen of San Francisco State by 5 ½ inches. Click here to see the 2024 CCAA Performance List
