Jeanette Fine is one of the most experienced players on the roster for the Broncos, currently in her fourth collegiate season after spending three years at nearby NAIA school Hope International. While playing for the Royals, Fine scored 913 points, amassed 531 rebounds, and helped HIU to a 51-21 record in her three seasons – reaching the NAIA Opening Round in 2022-23.
On December 9th of this season, Fine accumulated her 1,000th career point against Cal State East Bay, making a three-pointer with 4:58 left in the third quarter. The Las Vegas native has since scored 161 points, bringing her current career total to 1,162 – ranking 126th among active DII players.
Fearless Freshman
CCAA Freshman of the Year Sydney Nelson has put together a stellar freshman campaign for the Broncos, rankings first on the team in scoring with 441 points while also leading the team in rebounds with 192. She ranks Top 25 in the West Region in blocks (25), field goal percentage (.497), field goals made (170), free throws made (101), points per game (15.2), and rebounds (192).
