Men’s Track & Field Opens CCAA Championships in First Place

TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona men's track and field team sits in first place in the CCAA Championships after Day 1, accumulating 35 points across three events. The Broncos set 13 personal records, including Gavin Hanes setting four PR's in the decathlon.
Thomas Tuff, Francisco Zavaleta, and Mar'Agen Fowler each had podium finishes in their respective events, earning All-CCAA honors. Ryan Fields and Lorenzo Boyd both finished first in the prelims, with Boyd's time of 21.08 ranking fifth-fastest in school history.
