The Cal Poly Pomona men's and women's cross country teams are traveling to Billings, Montana later this week to compete in the 2024 NCAA Division II West Regionals.

For the fourth consecutive year, and the ninth time in the past 11 seasons, the Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team finished second in the CCAA Cross Country Championships.

POMONA, Calif. - For the first time in department history, all five Cal Poly Pomona fall sports are nationally ranked in their respective Top 25 polls at the same time. Men's cross country is ranked 19th, women's cross country is 18th, men's soccer at 18th, volleyball at eighth, and women's soccer tied a program high with a ranking of No. 2 in the nation.

Cal Poly Pomona's Tom McDonnell has been chosen as the CCAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, for the week of Sept. 30-Oct. 6.

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - The nationally ranked Cal Poly Pomona Broncos put on an impressive display at Dallas Baptist University's Old Glory Gallop, competing against 41 schools and finishing second overall. The team's performance was particularly noteworthy as they claimed the top spot among Division II programs.

A new tradition is set to ignite the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) sports scene as the inaugural Cal Poly Clash: Battle of the Green & Gold kicks off this October, pitting Cal Poly Humboldt against Cal Poly Pomona in an annual rivalry series. The two California Polytechnic universities, located at opposite ends of the state, will face off in a wide array of athletic competitions under the banner of this new rivalry.
