- Men’s Track and Field Completes Three-Peat at CCAA ChampionshipsFor the third consecutive season, the Cal Poly Pomona men's track and field team has claimed the CCAA title. They finished with 250 points, narrowly beating Chico State at 220 and dominating the remainder of the conference – third place being Cal State Los Angeles at 88 points.
- Hill Breaks School Record as Men Sweep Long Jump at CCAA ChampionshipsDarius Hill broke the Cal Poly Pomona school record in the long jump on Friday, jumping a distance of 7.64 meters to pass teammate Deandre Smith's mark last season of 7.60 meters. This mark was also good for first place in the event, making Hill the CCAA Champion. Smith and Justin Cardoza also had podium finishes in the long jump, leading to a complete sweep of the event for the Green & Gold.
- Men’s Track & Field Opens CCAA Championships in First PlaceThe Cal Poly Pomona men's track and field team sits in first place in the CCAA Championships after Day 1, accumulating 35 points across three events. The Broncos set 13 personal records, including Gavin Hanes setting four PR's in the decathlon.
- Ryan Fields Captures 15th Career CCAA Track Athlete of the Week AwardFor the fourth time in the past six weeks, Cal Poly Pomona's Ryan Fields has been named the CCAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the week of April 15-21. Fields becomes the 40th CCAA Athlete of the Week for CPP during 2023-24, making the Broncos the first school to ever reach 40 in an academic year. Fields now has 15 CCAA Athlete of the Week awards in his career, nearly doubling the previous conference record of eight. His sister, Ayana, is also now second in conference history with nine in her career.
- Ryan Fields Breaks Own School Record at Mt. SAC RelaysRyan Fields broke his own school record on Saturday afternoon, running 13.64 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles to beat his previous personal best of 13.75. His new mark now ranks fourth in the entire nation this season, while ranking first in the CCAA. The Broncos reached 10 NCAA provisional qualifying marks at the Mt. SAC Relays, while also setting seven personal records.
- Alan Rennie Named NSCA All-AmericanCal Poly Pomona men's track and field student-athlete, Alan Rennie, has been named a 2024 National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American.
- Sommacal Named CCAA Track Athlete of the WeekAlessio Sommacal of Cal Poly Pomona has been named the CCAA Track Athlete of the Week for the week of April 8-14.
- Men’s 4x400 Relay Breaks 52-Year Old Record at Bryan ClayThe Cal Poly Pomona men's track and field team saw seven Top 10 performances in school history this past weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Saturday, including breaking the 52-year old school record in the 4x400 relay by nearly a full second.
- Men's Track & Field Earns Five Provos at Triton InvitationalThe men's track and field team picked up five more NCAA provisional qualifying marks on Saturday at the Triton Invitational. In total, the Broncos saw seven Top 5 finishes and six personal records.
